- 4 / 5By John BoyleI have stopped by this establishment on various occasions over the 28 years I lived in Malta. Yes it definitely had a yoyo ride of ups and downs. However it was recently purchased and the new owners Chis and Kristie have put out an extra effort to make Almost Saratoga a place on the map. They have brought in two great young chefs with plenty of knowledge and ambition. The ever improving menu is outstanding. Yes bar food but brought to a great height and keeping the prices more than fair. The specials I believe change daily and the ones I enjoyed were tremendous. They have also really did a nice job cleaning and sprucing the place up. The staff is very friendly and makes sure you want to stop back. All in all I think this place might be the most reasonable on Rt.9. They are also dabbling with entertainment on the weekend with great local talent. Atmosphere is rustic but fun.July 02, 2016
